Amid the constant change of the urban landscape, this small landmark building stands as a beacon - an anchor point in the flow of time and transformation. It reminds us that coming home is more than a physical location; it is a sense of deep connection that moves with us. Not as a fixed place, but as an intrinsic interconnectedness with ourselves, each other, the landscape and the rhythms that surround us.

Central to the installation is a solar eclipse: a dark heart surrounded by a ring of light that slowly pulsates and changes. This image invites reflection on our place in the natural world and the rhythms that surround us. The work challenges us to view coming home not as a physical location, but as a sense of connectedness — with each other, with the environment, and with time itself.

Te midden van de voortdurende verandering van het stedelijke landschap staat dit kleine monumentale gebouw als een ankerpunt in de tijd. House of Belonging toont thuiskomen niet als een vaste plaats, maar als een ervaring die ontstaat in relatie tot de omgeving en de mensen om ons heen.

Centraal in de installatie staat een zonsverduistering: een donker hart omringd door een ring van licht, die langzaam pulseert en verandert. Dit beeld nodigt uit tot reflectie over onze plaats in de natuurlijke wereld en de ritmes die ons omringen. Thuiskomen niet te zien als een fysieke locatie, maar als een gevoel van verbondenheid: met elkaar, de omgeving en in de tijd zelf.
