The AFK invests in the arts which enrich the experience of life in the city of Amsterdam and encourages the quality, dynamism and diversity of the arts in Amsterdam, and contributes to the city's strong and richly varied cultural climate, 2022 - 2023.


The Art of Light in Public Space, project realisation
Grant awarded by the Van Eesteren-Fluck & Van Lohuizen Foundation (EFL). The EFL provides grants at the intersection of research, design, politics and policy in which the ideas of Van Eesteren, architect-urbanist, and Van Lohuizen, urban planner, are given contemporary meaning. Contributions should have a direct substantive relevance, 2022 - 2023.

Grant
Henk van der Geest Lichtontwerpen Fonds part of the Prins Bernard Cultuurfonds for research into an integral approach of the art of light in an urban renewal area. Henk van der Geest (1952-2019) was a lighting designer who made a strong case for the development of lighting design as an artistic discipline. Starting point was not the technique, but the vision behind the content, 2021.
