The 2016 city.people.light award ceremony took place on the 4th of November 2016 in Seoul, South Korea during the LUCI Annual General Meeting.

  • Third prize: Emmen (Netherlands)
  • Special mentions: Lyon (France) and Busan (S. Korea)
  • People’s Choice award: Emmen (Netherlands)

Lamp Award winner Barcelona 2015
Dolmen Light from light artist Titia Ex won the international Lamp Award 2015 in the Urban and Landscape Lighting category.

The jury in Barcelona unanimously chose the artwork from 54 participating countries.

Quote: This project showed a remarkable balance between artistic and technical excellence,
with the functional light on the road way and the dynamic lighting to the walls, creating a unique and refreshing approach to tunnel lighting

The Jury, made up of lighting designers Mark Major, Kai Piippo, Douglas Leonard and Anne Bureau, IALD Project Manager in Europe, Emma Cogswell, architects Anupama Kundoo and Juan Carlos Sancho, and interior designer, Ignasi Bonjoch, met twice to select the 21 finalists from the 598 projects.
